Single Story Extension

On this project, we added a single story extension to the rear of our client’s property to increase floorspace on the ground floor.

Utilising a lantern to attract light from the roof space, we also added bi-fold doors to the garden opening to create a flow from the property into the garden space.  

We finished the property with all electrical works, additional heating, plastering, tiling, installation of the flooring, a small stepped area into the garden and rendering to the extension.  

Summer House

Our client requested that we build a summer house / “man cave” in their garden.

We cleared out the existing shrubbery and built a fence to what would be the rear of the summer house. We then went on to clear the area and construct a base using steel re-enforcement. 

Once the base was built, we constructed the summer house which included a shed to the left, as a “dirty area” for gardening materials.

We finished the build off with a small walled area and finished the paving with a high quality stone.  

Loft Conversion

On this project, we converted the loft space to increase the living area of the home. The loft conversion included construction of a dorma and replacement of the existing roof. 

In addition to the loft conversion, we went on to complete all internal works, including electrics, heating, plastering and decorations. 

Supporting Wall Removal

Our client requested that we open up their kitchen / diner to create an open space in the rear of their property, both opening up the living area as well as brightening the area with natural light. 

Following removal of the supporting wall and inserting of an RSJ, we boarded the area and re-plastered the room to create this open plan living room. 

Our electricians and plumbers installed the finishing touches, which included the pendant ceiling light and wall mounted column radiator. 

Wrap Around Extension & Full Refurbishment

On this project, we completley transformed the property, both internally and externally. Initially, we built a two storey wrap around extension and new porch area. Once the extended space was in place, we went on to remove a number of supporting walls to open up the space, creating an open plan living area. 

Once the structural and construction elements were complete, we went on to fully refurbish the inside of the property which included a hand made solid oak staircase, replacement heating system, full re-wire, replacement kitchen and bathrooms, re plastering of all rooms and all finishing touches including decoration, flooring and external driveway / entrance gate. 

Chimney Stack Rebuild

Following a structural survey, our client was advised that weathering had caused their chimney stacks to lean and had created areas were water was able to penetrate the roof line. This was causing water to penetrate into the property and brought significant risk of the stacks falling.

To keep the stacks inkeeping with the current brick, we dismantled the existing chimney stacks and cleaned off the individual bricks, so that they could be re-used. Once we had dismantled and cleared the bricks, we re-built the stacks and re-flashed the roof to protect the property from water damage.
